Request For Collaborators

As you know, the consortium is a member driven organization. Uniting academia, industry, and governmental agencies, FeedAC is structured to rely on its members, not only for financial support, but also for guidance and leadership. The goals of FeedAC are to move the science of feed characterization and nutritional modeling forward in a timely and cost-efficient way, and to ensure, once and for all, that a feed information system is developed and maintained that will meet the needs of our animal and feed industries. As a collaborator, you will be in a unique position to help make this happen.

Collaborator status is a special "work in kind" membership that is reserved for those that are willing to commit significant time and resources to FeedAC. It also avoids the exclusion of researchers from universities and non-profit organizations who don’t have research funding for membership payment. Collaborators are required to contribute to the consortium in some special way. Possible ways to contribute include:

1. Collect and submit feed samples to FeedAC
2. Analyze samples for FeedAC
3. Share previously analyzed feed samples with FeedAC for further analysis
4. Share data bases for posting on the FeedAC website
5. Actively participate in FeedAC discussion forums and committees
